Go live with your account
Demo mode lets you build and publish events before your account is fully live, but registrations, branded emails, and integrations stay off until you choose a plan and go live. When you are ready to open your events to attendees, open the Getting Started checklist or Billing settings, choose a plan or select Continue on Free, then click Go live.
How to go live
Open the Getting Started checklist in your dashboard, or go to Settings and select Billing.
Review the available plans and select one, or choose Continue on Free.
Click Go live.
After going live, your dashboard shows a confirmation and your events are open for registration.
What turns on after going live
While you are in demo mode, you can publish events and preview your calendar widget, but the following features are off:
Attendee registrations
Branded emails
Integrations
After you go live, these features turn on and your account moves to its assigned plan tier.
Continue on Free
If you choose Continue on Free, your account goes live on the Free plan. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time from Settings > Billing.

How we know your widget is live
After you embed the calendar widget on your Squarespace site and publish the page, Eventually detects when the widget renders on your live site. This happens automatically as visitors load the page. Previewing inside Eventually does not trigger detection.
Eventually records the first time the widget is seen on a live site and the host domain where it appeared. We store only distinct host domains, up to 20, and remove duplicates. This helps confirm your widget is running, though browser privacy settings or ad blockers may delay detection.
Widget detection relies on the visitor's browser and can be limited by privacy settings, ad blockers, or network restrictions. If your widget is visible on your site but has not been detected yet, the embed itself is still working correctly.
