Billing and plans
Eventually uses a flat monthly subscription model with no per-ticket fees. You pay a fixed subscription for the plan you choose, plus standard Squarespace Payments processing fees when you sell paid tickets. This guide covers plan options, how to change your plan, payment methods, and invoice history.
Plan comparison
Each plan includes specific limits on active events, attendees per event, and team members. All plans include core features like native Squarespace checkout, the embeddable calendar widget, attendee dashboard, QR code check-in, CSV export, discount codes, mobile event creation, confirmation emails, and calendar invites.

Free plan
The Free plan is designed for testing, free events, and small gatherings. It includes up to 3 active events with up to 25 attendees each, and one team member. You can host free RSVP events without requiring Squarespace Commerce. The Free plan is available at no cost.
Essentials plan
Essentials is ideal for regular workshops and classes. At $19/month, or $190 billed annually, you can run up to 20 active events with 50 attendees each and 3 team members. This plan unlocks paid tickets, multiple ticket types, recurring events, custom registration fields, waitlists, reminder emails, and removal of Eventually branding. Paid events require Squarespace Commerce.
Growth plan
Growth supports a busy calendar. At $49/month, or $490 billed annually, you get 50 active events with up to 100 attendees each and 5 team members. Growth adds the Klaviyo and Kit integrations, access codes for ticket types, week view, and connecting an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to your account.
Pro plan
Pro removes the caps. At $169/month, or $1,690 billed annually, you get unlimited active events and unlimited attendees per event, plus 10 team members. Pro adds timed ticket release, priority support, personal onboarding, and migration support. Pro is available through self-serve checkout in Settings, the same as every other plan.
Upgrading your plan
Upgrades take effect immediately. When you upgrade, you get instant access to the new plan's features and limits. Any prorated credit from your current plan is applied to the upgrade cost.
To upgrade:
Go to Settings in your dashboard.
Select Billing.
Review available plans and select the one you want.
Confirm your payment method and complete the upgrade.
Downgrading or canceling
Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll retain access to your current plan's features until then.
Before downgrading, export any data that requires higher-tier features. If you're over the new plan's limits for active events or attendees, you may need to reduce your event count before the downgrade completes.
To downgrade or cancel:
Go to Settings and select Billing.
Choose your new plan or select the option to cancel.
Review the changes and confirm.
Payment methods and billing information
You can update your payment method and billing address from the Billing section in Settings. This is where you'll also see your current plan, subscription status, and next renewal date.
For paid events, payments from your customers are processed through Squarespace Payments. Eventually does not charge per-ticket fees, but standard Squarespace processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply and those fees go to Squarespace, not Eventually.
Plan checkout payment methods
Self-serve plan checkout uses Stripe PaymentElement, which displays the payment methods enabled in your Stripe Dashboard. Depending on your Stripe configuration, you may see options such as card, ACH Direct Debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, and Amazon Pay. Not all methods appear for every account.
ACH Direct Debit
When you pay by ACH Direct Debit, your plan is activated as soon as the debit is initiated, even though the bank transfer itself typically takes up to 4 business days to fully settle. If the payment later fails, your plan automatically reverts to the Free tier.
Pending payment states
After checkout, the billing page may show a status-specific notice instead of a generic success message. These notices are derived from Stripe payment state, not just the checkout return:
Processing — Your bank payment is processing — typically up to 4 business days. Your plan is active in the meantime. The debit is in flight and your plan features are already available.
Verification required — Your bank account still needs verification — your plan activates once payment completes. Stripe requires microdeposit confirmation before the debit can begin. Click Verify your bank account if a link is shown, or check your email for Stripe's microdeposit verification link.
See Plan checkout shows a pending or verification state for troubleshooting guidance.
Invoices and receipts
Your complete invoice history is available in Settings under Billing. Each invoice is generated automatically after a payment and can be downloaded as a PDF.
To access invoices:
Go to Settings and select Billing.
Scroll to the invoice history section.
Click to download any invoice as a PDF.
If you need invoices sent to your accounting team, you can set up invoice notification emails from the Billing settings page.
