Creating multiple teams
Create a separate team whenever a set of events needs its own site, billing, and guest list. Agencies typically run one team per client. You become the owner of any team you create.
Create a team
Open the team menu in your dashboard.
Choose to create a new team and give it a name.
Eventually creates the team, makes you its owner, seeds a starting set of event categories, and switches you into it straight away. The team takes its time zone from your user profile.
A team name appears in the invitation emails it sends, so names cannot contain links. If your name is rejected, remove any URL from it.
What each team keeps separate
Teams do not share data. Each one has its own:
Squarespace site connection
Events, attendees, and waitlists
Brand settings and widgets
Plan and billing
Members and their roles
Your user profile is shared across every team you belong to, so one login reaches all of them.
Each team is billed on its own plan
Creating a team does not extend your current subscription to it. A new team starts on the Free plan, and you choose a plan for it separately when you are ready to go live. See Billing and plans.
Move between teams
Switch teams from the team menu. Everything you see afterwards, including events, attendees, and settings, belongs to the team you switched into. See Switching between teams.
