Inviting team members
Invite someone to your team from Settings, then Company. Only owners and admins can send, resend, or cancel invitations.
Send an invitation
Go to Settings and select Company.
Click + Invite member.
Enter their email address and choose a role.
Click Send invite.
They receive an email with a link to accept. Someone who already has an Eventually account joins your team as soon as they accept; anyone new is walked through creating an account first. See Sign in and recover your account for what they see.
Roles you can assign
Member — Works with events, attendees, and the widget.
Admin — Everything a member can do, plus managing team membership and billing.
You cannot assign a role with more privilege than your own, so an admin cannot create another owner. Owner is not in this list either: moving ownership uses the transfer flow instead. See Transfer team ownership.
For what each role can reach, see Roles and permissions.
Manage pending invitations
Invitations you have sent appear in the same section with their status. Each row offers:
Resend — Sends the invitation email again, useful when it never arrived or the link expired.
Cancel — Withdraws the invitation so the link stops working.
While an ownership handoff is pending, you cannot start a second one. Cancel the open handoff first.
Messages you may see
[email] is already a member of this team. They have already joined, so no invitation is needed.
You don't have permission to assign the [role] role. Ask an owner to send the invitation instead.
How many people your plan includes
Each plan includes a number of team members: 1 on Free, 3 on Essentials, 5 on Growth, and 10 on Pro. Your team member count is checked when you change plans, so reduce your team before downgrading to a plan with fewer seats. See Billing and plans.
