Does Squarespace Have Event Ticketing? Honest Answer for 2026

The short answer: No. Squarespace does not have purpose-built event ticketing. But you're not stuck — there are real options. Here's the honest landscape.

What Squarespace Does Have

Squarespace gives you a few things that feel adjacent to event ticketing:

Commerce: Sell physical and digital products. You can use product listings as event "tickets," but you lose per-attendee data, check-in, and recurring event support.

Calendar Pages: Display events with dates and descriptions. No payment. No registration. Display only.

Acuity Scheduling: Book one-on-one or small group appointments. Designed for service providers, not multi-attendee events with ticket tiers and capacity limits.

Forms: Collect information through form blocks. No payment collection. No capacity management.

Why It's Not Enough for Real Events

If you run events as a core part of your business — workshops, classes, tastings, fundraisers, performances — you need things Squarespace doesn't offer natively:

Per-attendee data: Not just who bought, but who's attending. Dietary restrictions. Accessibility needs. Emergency contacts. T-shirt sizes.

Check-in: Know who actually showed up, not just who registered.

Automated event emails: Confirmation with ticket attached. Reminder the day before. Follow-up after.

Recurring event support: Set up your weekly class once, not fifty-two times.

Capacity management: Automatic cutoff when you hit your limit, not you watching a spreadsheet.

Your Real Options

You have three paths:

Path 1: Native workarounds. Use Commerce products as ticket listings, forms for free events, or a combination. Works for simple events. Breaks for anything recurring or complex. Full step-by-step guide here.

Path 2: Third-party embeds. Eventbrite or Ticket Tailor embedded on your page. Full ticketing functionality, but checkout redirects off your site and per-ticket fees apply. See the comparison.

Path 3: Purpose-built Squarespace ticketing. Tools like Eventually that use Squarespace Commerce for checkout. Attendees never leave your site. Flat pricing. Per-attendee data. Full guide to all options.

How to sell tickets on Squarespace with Eventually

Setup takes about 10 minutes. You'll need a Squarespace site on the Core plan or higher, since Code Blocks need it to run the embed, and a Store page on your site, since tickets check out through your Squarespace store.

1. Create your free account

Go to app.eventuallyticketing.com/signup, enter your name, email and a password, and click "Create account". No card needed.

2. Describe your first event

Tell Evie, our AI assistant, about your event the way you'd tell a friend: what it is, when, how many people and what tickets cost. She sets it up for you to review. Prefer to fill it in yourself? Choose "Build your event manually". When it looks right, click "Publish event". If your tickets are paid, you'll be asked to connect your Squarespace store; you can do that now or in step 6.

3. Match your site's look (optional)

Paste your website address and click "Sync my brand". Eventually picks up your colors, fonts and logo so the calendar looks like the rest of your site.

4. Copy your embed code

Choose "Just this event" or "All my events", then click "Copy embed code".

5. Paste it into a Squarespace Code Block

In Squarespace, open the page where your events should live and click Edit. Add a block, choose Code, paste the embed code and save the page. Your calendar shows up right on the page.

6. Connect your Squarespace store

Click "Connect Squarespace", choose your site and approve the connection. It takes about a minute, and it's what lets paid tickets sell. Free events work without it.

That's it. Guests click "Get Tickets" on your calendar, pick their tickets and check out in your own Squarespace store. Eventually emails each guest a confirmation with their ticket, a QR code for check-in and a calendar invite. You pay a flat subscription and nothing per ticket; your payment processor's usual card fee still applies.
