Common questions
What does “no per-ticket fees” actually mean?
You pay a flat monthly subscription. Whether you sell 10 tickets or 10,000, your Eventually cost stays the same. Standard payment processing fees still apply through your Squarespace Payments or Stripe account — those go to the processor, not us.
Can I try it before committing?
The Free plan is free forever — up to 25 guests per event, 3 events per month, all core features. Use it to run free events or test how Eventually fits your site. Upgrade when you need paid tickets or higher caps.
How does checkout work?
Your guests check out on your own site through Squarespace Payments. They never leave your domain, never see another brand, and their payment goes through the same system as everything else you sell. Stripe inline checkout ships Q3 2026 as an alternative.
What if I run a nonprofit or community organization?
Free events on the Free plan have no fees at all — registration, check-in, and attendee data at zero cost. When you start selling tickets to fundraisers or galas, Essentials is $19/month with no per-ticket fees.
How does this compare to Eventbrite?
Eventbrite charges roughly 6–7% per ticket plus a flat fee. A yoga studio running two classes a week at 15 people pays about $2,000/year in Eventbrite fees. That same studio pays $190/year on Essentials annual.
