Cancelling a registration
Cancel an individual attendee's registration from the Guests list on your event page to free the seat. Cancelling does not refund the order and does not automatically promote a waitlisted guest.
Cancel a registration
Only owners and admins can cancel registrations.
Open the event in your Eventually dashboard and scroll to the Guests section.
Tick the checkbox next to each attendee whose registration you want to cancel.
In the bar that appears above the list, open the More bulk actions menu (the three dots) and choose Cancel registration.
Confirm the cancellation.
Cancelling cannot be undone. For an active seat that came from a Squarespace order, Remove from roster in the guest drawer also offers Cancel registration.
To cancel a whole multi-row order in one step, owners and admins can choose Cancel order in the order menu in the Guests list, or in the Whole order section of the guest drawer on phone-sized screens. The confirmation lists every included date and item, with seat and add-on counts, and cancelling an order records no refund.
What changes when you cancel
The attendee's status changes to Cancelled.
The registration's seats are freed and return to inventory.
Squarespace product stock for every ticket variant on that event is refreshed, not only the canceled tier.
Cancelling an individual registration does not send the attendee a cancellation email.
Cancellation is not a refund
Cancelling a registration changes the attendee's status; it does not process a payment refund. If you also need a refund, use Refund under Manage ticket in the guest drawer instead of cancelling: it marks the registration refunded, frees the seat, and links you to the Squarespace order, where the payment refund is completed. Cancellation is not roster removal
Cancelling keeps the record in your guest list with a Cancelled status. If you want to permanently delete the record, click Remove from roster in the guest drawer. Active registrations tied to a Squarespace order cannot be removed; cancel or refund them instead. To remove several guests at once, use Remove from event in the Guests roster bulk-action menu.
