Install and connect the Eventually panel in Squarespace
Add a short script to your Squarespace site's header and sign in once to connect, and the Eventually panel appears in your Squarespace admin so you can manage your events without leaving the site. The panel only runs in Squarespace admin mode — it does nothing on your public-facing site.
What the panel is
The Eventually panel is an overlay that activates only in Squarespace admin or edit mode. It adds an Eventually button and drawer to your Squarespace admin where you can view your upcoming events and, when Evie is enabled, create a draft event from a plain-language description. The script checks for Squarespace admin signals and returns without injecting the panel when you're viewing the live site.
The panel script contains only your site ID — it carries no secret, and the panel does nothing on your public site.
Before you start
You need a Squarespace site with admin access so you can open Code Injection, and an Eventually account where you're a member of the team for that site.
Install the panel
In your Squarespace site, open Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Header.
Paste the panel script, replacing
SITE_IDwith your site's ID:<script src="https://app.eventuallyticketing.com/panel.js?sid=SITE_ID"></script>Save the header.
Connect the panel on first use
Open your Squarespace site in admin or edit mode.
Open the Eventually panel. It shows Connect to Eventually and Sign in to connect →.
Click Sign in to connect →. A popup titled Connect the Eventually panel opens, showing the site and origin being connected.
Click Connect. The popup shows Connected. You can close this window. and the panel loads your upcoming events.
Connection lifetime and reconnecting
The connection lasts 12 hours and does not renew automatically. When it expires, the panel clears the session and returns to Connect to Eventually and Sign in to connect → — there is no separate Reconnect button. To reconnect, click Sign in to connect → and complete the popup confirmation again.
If you're removed from the Eventually team, panel access ends immediately, even before the 12 hours are up. If the panel won't connect or stops loading events, see Troubleshoot the Eventually panel in Squarespace.
Who can connect and what they can do
Any current member of the connected Eventually team can complete the panel connection and read panel data. Sensitive pre-sale changes — creating, updating, deleting, rotating, archiving, or activating pre-sales — and seeing plaintext access codes require owner or admin role. See Roles and permissions.
Panel vs. checkout connection
The panel install is separate from connecting your Squarespace store for Commerce checkout. Connecting your site for checkout lets attendees buy tickets on your site; the panel is a separate admin overlay for managing events. See Connect your Squarespace site for the checkout connection.
