Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your account
Connect an AI assistant to your Eventually account so it can answer questions about your events, ticket sales, and attendees using your live data. The connection is read-only: the assistant can look things up, but it cannot create, edit, cancel, or refund anything.
Once connected, you can ask things like:
What's on my calendar this week, and is anything close to selling out?
How did ticket sales do this week?
Who's coming to Saturday's class?
How many spots are left for next week's workshop?
Before you start
You need to be the owner or an admin of your Eventually team, and the team needs a connected Squarespace site.
AI assistant connections require the Growth plan or higher. See Understanding your plan and feature access for what each plan includes.
You also need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan. Custom connectors are not available on their free tiers.
Copy your connection URL
Go to Settings in your Eventually dashboard.
Select Connections.
Under Connect your AI assistant, find Your MCP server URL.
Click Copy.
Add the connector in Claude
Go to claude.ai and open Settings, then Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Paste the URL you copied and give it a name. Eventually works well.
Click Add, then Connect.
Add the connector in ChatGPT
Go to chatgpt.com and open Settings, then Connectors.
Click Add.
Paste the same URL and connect.
Choose what the assistant can see
The assistant sends you to an Eventually sign-in page. Sign in with your normal Eventually account, and a permissions screen opens.
Pick the account. If you belong to more than one Eventually team, choose the one the assistant should read. The connection covers every site on that team.
Events and sales are included by default. That covers your events, ticket types, capacity, orders, and revenue.
Attendee details are a separate opt-in. Tick Also share attendee details to let the assistant see attendee names and email addresses, which is what answers questions like who's coming Saturday. Leave it off to keep those private.
Click Connect to finish.
Try it out
Start a new chat and ask: How did ticket sales do this week?
The assistant pulls the answer from your live Eventually data, and the numbers match your Eventually dashboard. Counts are people rather than orders, so one person buying four tickets counts as four attendees.
Change or remove access
To disconnect, go to Settings, then Connections, and click Revoke next to the connection. The assistant loses access immediately.
To change what the assistant can see, for example to add or remove attendee details, revoke the connection and connect again with the settings you want.
Anything an attendee typed, such as a name or a note on their registration, reaches your assistant as written. Treat it the way you would treat any other text a customer supplied.
